Hello Everyone, Thank you for praying diligently for Shane. The doctors report this morning that he is doing better and headed in the right direction. Today they will try to wean him off the ventilator. If he does well, then the doctors will extubate him tomorrow. Shane is comfortable and in a sleepy state but easily arouses and becomes alert and willingly follows commands. He gave us all a big ole Shane smile last night. He made us all laugh. That was nearly heaven for me!!! He's really fighting and trying hard and I am so proud of him for his courage to get through all this. Shane's vitals look good. They will try to pull more fluid off his body today with medication. Keep praying him through!!! I will email another update tomorrow after the doctors meet and discuss his case. Love to all, Debbie
