Rent House Bathroom Redo

This is our first big project to get done while living here rent free. We are putting in alot of stroage and a washer and dryer. These pictures are the first pictures from the morning.

I couldn't get these do download on facebook. So I am putting them on here first. Besides some of you dont have a facebook account. The floor cost $132.00 and took about an 1hour and half to lay. This does not include pulling up the quater road and the old floor. The floor looks awesome. The doors were also repainted which cost roughly 6.88 for the 2 cans of spray paint. The paint was $5.00 for the Behr paint which matches the computer rooms color. I did have to purchase more primer $19.00. So for less than $200 we have a new looking bathroom.

I am really excited about this room. The paint I am using was someone elses mistake. It is a awesome color. Depending on the time of day to what color it wants to be. It is Bher paint and cost me $5.00 a gallon. WOW! I wasn't real sure if this dark of a color would work but it is great! All else fails paint over it and try again. I love it!!!! I still have one spot to do but the rest of the room is done. I think next I am going to repaint the bathroom off the living room.

Our new chickens

Our new chickens came today. They are so cute and very noise. We spent so much money we got 2 extras. One is this realy cute fuzzy yellow chicken. It is in there exotic line of chickens. I am not sure what makes them exoic but it sure is cute. We will find out more about it as it grows up.

Memorial Day Party at The Hall's

Uncle Bill served in the Korean War as an Army Soldier.

Douglas served in the Navy for 23 years mostly on submarine duty. He served during Desert Storm, Desert Shield and Iraq Freedom.

Dustin is currently serving and will be headed to Iraq in Sept. 2009. I love them all and all of the other service members. I thank everyone past, present and future for my freedom in this great counrty.

I received an email from my Aunt Chris today that was very cool. We have cousins who live in Dothan, AL. Sondra was diagnosed with Lou Gehrig's a year ago. How sweet are these 2? I was the only girl in my family for 18 years before my 2 cousins came along. Ms. Bee was 16 years old when her first girl cousin came along. Here they are together.

Retreat

We had a great time this weekend. We had great fellowship, we had a great message, some very easy and fun crafts and great food. However, next time I will be doing a few things a little differently. Like purchase as much of the food at least a week ahead of time. I felt like I was running around like a chicken with my head cut off. Another thing is make it to the place we are holding it way before everyone else, so that I can rest.
We had a few extra women this year and we all hope they will come every year. We really want to go and be able to touch more womens lives. Please keep our group in your prayers always!

Stromy Scarey Haunted?

There are tornados in Bellville right now. I hear they are heading down to the southern part of Austin County. The sky outside my house is gray and yellowish in color. I tried to take a picture but it didn't come out because the gray is so bright. I wanted a good picture because it makes my house look haunted. Not to say it is or its not, but it looks like it. So Corbin decided to take a picture with the color turned off. So here they are.

I was listening to

I was listening to Hawaiian 105 radio station online this morning. The man talking "Billy V" said something about the FDA finding lead in vitamins and other things. You should even read the labels on the products you currently take and eat. All of the stuff that is added is just crazy. God intended for us to eat lots of fruit and vegetables. However, here in America we have very poor diets. Everyone wonders why we have so much sickness, cancer and mental problems. Look at what you eat.

I asked myself what have I done to stop this from happening if anything. I have been a very supportive Navy wife, I am now a supportive Army mom and I send my support all year round to our awesome troops. However, that was not enough. I have also taught my children to love our country while society is saying hate our country. I made my children patriots! I want them to know what we are fighting for.

America has always stood for honesty, hard work and strong family values. Where did we go wrong? Well, we let people slack off from working and we pay them not to work, we have cut God out of everything American, and we have created a society that must have a 2 income family (which has taken family value away). We have created generations of families colloecting food stamps, free health care, free housing and free money. Well, when I put it like that we are very successful! Everyone talks about slavary being over. Well is this not just another form of slavary?

Mail Your Tea Bags

Okay now is the time to start mailing your tea bags to Washington, DC. Starting tomorrow til the 5th of April. The goal is to get them there by April 15. Please make sure your envelope lays as flat as possible, this will help its chance of actually getting to the White House. FYI, the Boston Tea Party was black tea.
You also need to include a note on why you are mailing this tea bag. Don't assume anyone in the White House currently can figure anything out. They are giving tax payers money away without having a clue about where it is going until someone breaks a story open. So they will have no clue to why you and I are mailing these tea bags without us telling them why.Here are some suggestions from the snopes website. "I enclose this tea bag as a protest against the passage of any further economic stimulus packages that provide money to businesses without provisions for strict transparency and accountability in how the money is to be spent." or "I enclose this teabag as a protest against the passage of any further economic stimulus packages that include earmarks."

Make sure you find a Tea Party Rally near your town and go show your support.

To Eat or Not To Eat

I was looking at Yahoo news highlights and came across this. I thought the articles were very interesting. Okay everyone we need to come together and stop the crazy spending of our money and putting our children and grandchildren in debt for a very long time. Don't think you were snowed because he was very in your face about his idea of "Change". Now if all you saw was the fact that he is half africian and half white and heard nothing he said.
