The day after IKE I went outside and saw the bison blood lilies starting to come up out of the ground. They were coming up all over the place. They are so pretty and so red. The next day I went out and took pictures to share. These flowers are from the 18th century and come up every 3 years. Each year I have them but they are always in different places and some spots have more than others.

Hey, just wanted to let you know that David and Caitlin weathered the storm just fine. We had no damage to our house at all. We lost power for about 12hrs but that is about it. Hope you guys are all doing great. We miss you.

Thank you for thinking about us. We didn't any damage done either. We did lose lots of limbs but nothing to the house. Both of my brothers, plus Dougs work still dont have power.
