Love One Another

If we truly love someone then we will want to serve them, with our whole heart and soul. We wont care what others think. Even if it means others laugh, judge, or criticize us for how we do things.

e-mealz

I found this on Dave Ramsey's website and thought it was cool. I personally have the hardest time coming up with menus to go with the sale ads. So these people did it for me. I signed up and so can you. Just click on this link and then I will get credit for you, so they say. Very cool!

1st Calvary Museum

Here are some pictures from our last trip to Fort Hood....

Bailey is pointing at "her name" on a plaque at the museum.

Dustin would love to be part of the First Calvary. He thinks it would be awesome and he could wear a stetson and spurs with his uniform.

Words of Wisdom from Corbin

So you all know how smart Corbin can be, right! Well, today was awesome. We were leaving Sam's and listening to Laugh USA on the radio. I didn't hear what they were talking about because I was trying to pull out of the parking lot.
Corbin says to me "I know how to keep a wife satisfied!" (Oh! My what could this mean?")
I said "Really?"
He said "Yes."
I am sure you know what I am thinking right now. "Should I even open this can of worms? Do I want to open this can of worms?" Before I knew it out of my mouth came "How son?"
He said " The husbands wallet."
I am sure you agree with me on the relief part of this conversation. I told him "As long as you understand that you and your wife will get along great."
Okay here comes the come back of all times. He says, with a straight face mind you, "That is why I am not." (my mind says "He is not going to get married.") He continues "going to have a wallet."
I bet you didn't see that coming did you. I know I didn't.
How funny was all that? Anyway, I hope you found this funny if not to bad. I just took 1 minute from your life you will never get back.

Red High Heels

For those of you do not know, I have been looking for months for a pair of cute Red High Heels. Well the look is over, yesterday I went to purchase Dustin a pillow at Ross the department store. (Side not, if you want nice pillows at low prices this is the place to go, I purchase all of our pillows there. I purchased Dustin a Tommy Hilfiger pillow for $6.99.) How great is that?! It isn't as great as the shoe purchase though. I have included a picture of the tag to prove they were only $3.49, and are Nine West. WOW! This is my best find of the year so far! Go Lori it's your birthday! This is a recap of what happened. I walked over to shoe department thinking maybe I would find a pair of cute shoes in my size. I never do there. I spotted these very cute pair of red high heel shoes right of the bat. Then I saw the price and thought "Holy Mackerel, this can't be the price.". Next I looked at the size. My heart sunk, size 6. WHAT this can't be. I calmed down and regrouped my thoughts and decided I would bite the bullet and try them on anyway. They look so small. Just maybe they will fit. THEY FIT!!!!! They are a very small size 6. How awesome that was. So now I have a pair of red high heels.

1st Calvary Museum at Fort Hood

This last weekend we went and visited Dustin up at Fort Hood. We ran arrands mostly but had a good time none the less. On Sunday while we waited for Douglas to drive Dustin's motorcycle up we went to one of the museums, at least the hide side portion anyway. Here are a couple of pictures from our trip.

Some of the vehilces that are on display were actually captured from other countries. Which I personally thought was very cool. We still have more to see on Fort Hood but we are waiting. Some were even ours that were captured and put into service by the other country.

We also went bowling and I think everyone had a blast. It was so nice being able to just hang out with each other as a family unit again.
